Has anyone found a way to get there to get your reward? The ty from Anet was nice but I still want the reward.

Why; after tomarrow, all the characters/progress will be deleted :P

But I don't think there is a way, as that's the end of the preview.

Then why put a reward at all just have the reward being the ty from Anet, that would have been fine.

Because that quest was an edit of a real quest in the actual game. By preventing you from leaving the island theres no way to get the reward, so theres no point removing it.
